Paul Sutton - Comic Artist, Designer, Photographer

Born and bred near Manchester, England, the multifaceted artist wears different hats as an illustrator, designer, concept artist, photographer and founder of Why Not Company - with its digital art studio that produce high quality artwork prints

Paul formally trained as a finished artwork designer until he took up a position working alongside his two older brothers in their motorsport picture agency, Sutton Motorsport Images. Here he developed his skills as a photographer, graphic designer and customer services manager. 

After 20 years in the business he pursued a new challenge, so Paul took an untravelled journey into the world of fine art (lead pencil drawing, watercolour painting and in gouache) 

and in doing so he stumbled across the medium of computer graphics. Having already perviously mastered his skills in photoshop and photography he now ventured to bring CGI female comic superheroes to life in his own unique style.

CGI became his new creative tool of choice and female comic superhero his passion. He’s a true perfectionist; not only in his superhero creations but this extends to all the promotion and packaging design they come in... right down to the envelope label.

Paul has since enjoyed having his work printed on promotional packaging, book covers and fine art prints. He has also been featured frequently in magazines and online media around the world. To date Paul Sutton’s online art gallery on deviantART has been viewed more than 5 million times and counting.

Presently Paul can be found all around the internet and comic pages, searching for inspiration for his next awesome comic creation!
